Trades Hall of Glasgow

We won a tender to develop a new site for the Trades Hall of Glasgow. This stunning building hosts meetings, conferences, weddings and a whole host of other events, and the team there were keen to launch a new site that showed off its best face.
We built the site around images as far as possible, with large pictures helping to get across the building’s grandeur. We also put in place a streamlined structure and a new-look front page that helped guide users to the key parts of the site depending on their needs.
As well as making the site look great, we did some behind-the-scenes work to build a client area, which will allow events’ organisers to provide information on things such as food choices and let the Trades Hall team print off menu cards automatically. We also carried out integration work so that enquiries placed through the site are transferred automatically to the team’s Salesforce system.
How it works
The site is powered by our fuzzylime (cms+) platform, which means it’s really straightforward for the team to manage its content. We also built a custom module to support the organisation of events, and one to allow the team to choose and reorder images used within each page.
