Website design & coding
insPYRE is an innovative nonprofit school in Tennessee, aimed at teaching welding and metalwork skills.
The organisation needed a top-notch site for its launch, to provide information on the range of courses offered, events being attended and to offer some items made by students for sale. It also had to accept donations and allow students to sign in and access information around their course.
With very strong branding having been developed and a range of fantastic images to choose from, it was really important that the site reflect this. It also needed to be easy for insPYRE’s small team to manage and to integrate with Neon, a CRM and payments platform that they had chosen as one that is specifically designed for nonprofit organisations.
With the school being formally launched during a film festival in Knoxville in November 2024, it was key to develop a timeline that would allow the site and all of its associated features to go live by that point.
Visit this siteWhat we did
We took the branding that had been developed and imagery we were supplied to build a really strong site, making heavy use of both still images and videos throughout. Every area of content can have an image/video associated with it, which shows next to it. Areas of content slide in as the user scrolls down a page to keep visual interest high. And courses and events are designed to be as easy to book as possible.
We started work by building the site itself and completing coding for the courses, events and donations elements. These all lead through to the same payments section, which in turn integrates with the Neon Pay platform and can then pass information on these through to insPYRE’s main CRM as soon as a payment is received.
Visitors are able to view in one place details of all the courses/events they’ve signed up to as well as any donations they’ve made – they can choose to make these recurring donations and if so they can manage their future payments directly fro within the site.
They said …
When we started a new nonprofit metalworking school, we needed to bring the heat to our online presence - but we didn’t know how. We were hoping for a creative look reflecting our personality.
We heard about fuzzylime by word-of-mouth, and we will be forever grateful for the introduction!
fuzzylime guided us through every step, ensuring our website fully engages potential students and our all-important donors. By offering easy-to-understand expertise in the latest data and technologies along the way, as well as guidance on copy and video, fuzzylime came through with a wonderfully inclusive and unique website.
