Oli Olsen launched in 2016 with exclusive rights to distribute a number of brands in the UK and Ireland.

The company specialises in unique gifts and homeware and these are available for users to buy through the website.

Oli Olsen had a really vibrant colour scheme and we ensured the whole site reflected this look, being fun to look at while still working in a really straightforward manner.

One key area was the provision of a separate section for trade users – when an account is approved for this, they can access separate product listings and pricing with elements such as minimum purchases also being needed.

The site also needed to support expansion going forward, with new brands and additional products being made available. It was important that it could scale without any issue, both in terms of additional categories and the products themselves.

What we did

We built the site to run on our e-commerce platform, which integrates fully with our standard CMS to ensure that everything lives in one place.

The site integrates with Sage Pay’s systems to make taking payment a really straightforward process for those who wish to buy online. It also supports payment by invoice/BACS for trade clients.

Users can browse the site’s products by category and filter by price and brand, as well as searching through the product catalogue to find exactly what they’re looking for – these are all standard features that our e-commerce platform offers.
