We won a tender to redevelop the website of Scottish Union Learning, a part of the STUC that aims to support trade unions in helping their members access skills and lifelong learning.
The old site looked tired and outdated, with some features that no longer worked and a confusing layout that made it difficult to navigate.
We revamped the look of the site within the organisation’s existing branding, ensuring it was more up-to-date and attractive.
We also worked to improve the functionality, suggesting a new structure to the team at Scottish Union Learning and ensuring the embedded search engine was powerful and easy to use.
The site has been designed to have a range of features built in from the start, with a resources section and events listings being key. Going forward, the site will be able to be expanded to meet the organisation’s needs as and when these change.
How it works
The site is powered by our fuzzylime (cms+) software, which aims to make it as straightforward as possible for users to update their websites. We provide training as part of the package to make sure that the key people who’ll be involved in managing the site on a day-to-day basis know exactly how to do it.
