Design | www.murison.net
The murison.net domain was originally registered and set up as a basic site years ago by one specific Murison – Derek, who lives in Glasgow. It contained very little – mainly just a simple contact form – but Derek was amazed at the level of response from other family members around the world and decided to set up a family tree online.
Unfortunately, the software installation didn't go entirely smoothly and Derek lost the all-important contact form – and the rest of his site too! When he decided to relaunch the site, he got in touch with fuzzylime and asked us to provide him with a site where he could offer information on the family history, a guestbook for relatives to post comments, a contact form and a link to that all-important family tree itself. So that's exactly what we did.
How it works
The site was custom-designed and runs on our cms+ software. This puts Derek in control, allowing him to update the content as often as possible, as well as accepting posts from other relatives and adding new pages.
What they said
"fuzzylime has revamped my site and given me an easy-to-use toolset to instantly update it. The toolset can be used by web novices with no web writing skills and can be used by those experienced that want to add own HTML. I had what I thought was a complex task which involved importing from another software package, but David set up a quick solution. Directions and advice are explained accurately and simply. I am delighted and I wish fuzzylime well. I think it is superb personal service that they offer."
