My Life My Death My Choice

fuzzylime was asked to develop a site to support the campaign to legalise assisted suicide in Scotland.
The project is being supported by the Humanist Society Scotland, whose website we previously redeveloped, and they asked us to design and code the campaign site too.
We were also asked to design a logo for the campaign, choosing a colour scheme and fonts/branding that would suit the project.
A Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament in November 2013 and the campaign aims to encourage people to back it, by contacting their MSPs or signing a petition.
It provides more information about the campaign and its aims as well as allowing people to easily email all of their MSPs or Scotland's political leaders.
The site includes video content and will be updated with relevant news items as the campaign moves forward.
How it works
The site is powered by our fuzzylime (cms+) software, with add-ons developed to support the "take action" area of the site. This area is integrated with They Work For You to identify a visitor's MSPs from their postcode and obtain contact details for their representatives. We then developed a system that allows a user to enter their details and customise an email to be sent to the MSPs.
