Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief

The Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care approached fuzzylime and asked us to build a website for a new project.
The Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief project aims to encourage people to talk about death and the issues surrounding it.
The charity worked with a design agency to produce a brand and colour scheme. We then incorporated this into the website.
The site contains a large amount of information so every page features a prominent search engine. It also links to social media.
One of the biggest challenges was communicating a large amount of text without the use of any images. The design is deliberately produced so that the site still looks bright and inviting without using pictures.
How it works
The basis of the site is powered by our fuzzylime (cms+) software. We included a resources system, allowing the charity to track the number of times these files have been downloaded.
The system generates a site map automatically and deals with a large number of pages and subsections, automatically updating the 'breadcrumb' trail and an 'also in this section' box as visitors click through the site.
What they said
"fuzzylime are very easy to work with and have been extremely helpful and efficient throughout the development of our website. We are extremely pleased with the design and feel of our website, are confident that fuzzylime have provided a content management system that will make future website management straightforward, and that any problems that may arise will be dealt with swiftly and effectively.
"As a charitable organisation, efficiency and cost-effectiveness are very important to us, and fuzzylime provide both."
