Design/Coding | www.engender.org.uk
Engender approached fuzzylime and asked us to quote for a redevelopment of the organisation's website.
A new logo and colour scheme were being developed and we designed the new site around these to fit in with its fresh and clean look.
The site also needed to feature a members' area and directory, as well as allowing members to book on to specific events and allow them to add new ones and comment on blog posts and images.
We designed the site to be as user-friendly as possible and divided it into areas that made it straightforward for users to find the information they were looking for.
We also developed custom-coded systems for membership and events to meet Engender's meets, as well as installing a publications system that allows the organisation to feature new documents as and when needed.
How it works
The site is powered by our content management system, fuzzylime (cms+), which will make it straightforward for the team at Engender to manage the site, add new content and events and manage membership going forward.
What they said
“fuzzylime has been critical to helping Engender figure out better ways to communicate what we’ve been up to. As a small charity with tight budgets and tighter deadlines, we’ve been impressed with the creativity and speed of fuzzylime in solving our communication challenges. Our whole team took part in their excellent training, and our non-technical staff have relied on their ongoing support and advice.
“We’ve had so many compliments from our members and stakeholders about our newly polished website, and its crisp and fresh design. It’s so easy to update now that it’s always bursting with new information, and it’s transformed the way that we engage with our members.
“Other companies in their industry could learn a great deal from fuzzylime. They’re incredibly friendly and easy to work with, fast as the wind, and pay careful attention to detail. They’ve become a valued part of our team.”
