Active Communities asked fuzzylime to build the charity's website around its existing logo.
The organisation, which is based in Paisley, runs a wide variety of health-based programmes and had seen a couple of previous sites we'd developed.
We worked closely with the team at Active to produce a site structure that would make it easier for visitors to find the information they needed within the site.
The site is structured around colour-coded sections - all classes are marked in orange, for example - which gives a quick indication of where a visitor is within the site at any given time.
An events system, which was coded for the charity, lists what's coming up and can include maps and photo galleries.
We also trained a number of the team so that they'll be able to manage the site themselves going forward - crucial as programmes are added or existing ones expand.
The site also contains a search function to make it easy for visitors to find exactly the information they're looking for.
How it works
The site is powered by our fuzzylime (cms+) software, which was specifically developed to make it really easy to manage sites. The team at Active Communities were delighted with how easy it was to pick up and start managing the site when we spent a morning training them.
