Power of imagery

ID Campbell website

We always get quite excited when we work on a project involving wonderful photography or artwork and that was definitely the case for our latest website launch.

While we always say that great images make our job a lot easier, it is not entirely true. When we are working with artists it is so important that the art stands out, rather than the website, that we work very hard to make sure that all the important parts of a website are easily accessible while allowing the art to speak for itself.

We think this works really well on the responsive website we have just launched for artist I.D. Campbell. Iain is a Glasgow-based portrait painter and is an Affiliate Artist of the UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts.

His work is very powerful and emotive and we hope that the website captures this and ensures that the power of the images is not compromised.

Why not take a look at Iain's work and see what you think?
