Better Than Zero
Every now and then a project comes along that really resonates with us and we are delighted to be a part of. When it is with a team we've enjoyed working with before then it is an added bonus.
While fuzzylime tends to be known for fabulous websites (we hope!) we have also been hard at work developing apps for the past few years and this project combines the two.
Better Than Zero is a campaign against precarious work practices such as zero hours contracts and poverty pay. It was set up in 2015 by the Scottish Trade Union Congress to take direct action against the most exploitative employers in Scotland in order to raise awareness of their ill-treatment of staff and train activists to organise their workplaces against exploitative working practices.
The Better than Zero website and app offer all the information and resources you need to take a stand against exploitative employers as well as signposting to you to available help if you find yourself a victim of such employers.
You can search the FAQs, read other people's experiences, download campaign posters, leaflets and stickers or find the most suitable union to join.
With so many companies still exploiting their workers it is more important than ever that campaigns such as Better Than Zero are there to help.
