Replay Sporting Memories
We've previously worked with the team from The Sporting Memories Network on building their innovative Replay platform – a place for people to read and share memories from sporting occasions, with the aim of helping people suffering from conditions including dementia or depression.
They came back to us to ask if we would be able to build an app that used the same database and system to tap into the huge archive of memories. We were delighted to help.
The app we built allows users to download the full set of memories for offline reading and browsing (in fact, it does it automatically), while also checking for new ones each time it's launched.
Users are able to mark memories as favourites to jump straight back to them, and the app also shows a list of the ones they've viewed most recently.
We built versions of the app for both iPhone/iPad and Android devices, making it available on both the Google Play store and Amazon appstore to allow it to be found by the widest possible audience.
How it works
The app runs off the same database as the site we built for Sporting Memories previously, meaning it updates seamlessly without any additional effort required on the part of the SMN team.
