Up For Sale

No, not us! We've been revamping the front end of a system used by estate agents to find out information about their market share (and, possibly even more importantly, that of their competitors).

If that sounds familiar, we designed the online presence of its little brother, Property Sleuth, which launched earlier this year. This time round, we were specifically tackling the usability of the full system.

We examined it and identified the flaws with it as it stood – while very powerful, it wasn't simple to use. So we went back to basics, looking at it from a client's point of view, identifying what they'd need to do with it and making it really straightforward to find.

The project involved overhauling the design of the system as it stood, and making some changes to the back-end coding so it presented things in a more user-friendly way.
