Why are you doing this?
These scripts have been going for years in one form or another and they're popular with a host of webmasters who don't need a separate designer or anyone to set their site up in the first place. They just want the thing to work.
But what do you get out of it?
Simple. On each free site, I ask for a link back to the fuzzylime site to help spread the word about the scripts. I like them, and others seem to as well - so it only seems to fair to let as many people as possible know about them!
But surely then you won't make any money?
Possibly not. But that's the way of the web. I'm happy to take any work going, but if people are confident enough to set things up themselves, that's great - and who am I to stop them?
So where do I get these scripts?
For the CMS - which lets you manage all the content on your site, host blogs, run mailing lists, have a guestbook, galleries, polls and loads more - go here.
If you want the forum - a web discussion board which brings a whole new look and feel to that genre - go here.
For the FAQ script - designed to let you easily answer questions from your own users, staff or friends - go here.
And if you ever need any professional web design or programming work done, remember who wrote them!
