When eat deli - the popular Clarkston deli and cafe - decided to expand the eat empire and open a cafe in Shawlands they called upon fuzzylime so that their website (which we designed a couple of years ago) could reflect the expansion.
The eat deli website has a lovely, bright design and uses lots of tempting photos so Kathryn and Paul were keen to keep a similar design for both the cafe and the deli.
The new cafe is a bit different from the deli in Clarkston, with a separate menu and opening hours – so it was important to highlight this as well as tempt people in with late opening, BYOB and free wifi.
We kept the eat deli site the same and set up a new site for eat cafe – basing the design around the mouthwatering photographs and the same colour palette as before.
We designed a new front page for the joint site, making it easy for people to choose whether they want to find out more information about the Clarkston or Shawlands eatery. To make it even easier for people to find out the information they are looking for, we put the contact details and opening hours on the front page.
If you are looking for somewhere to eat this weekend then why not try the new eat in Shawlands. The menus are very tempting – why not take a look?
Distinguished Scottish artist Lys Hansen approached fuzzylime when she decided that she needed her own web presence.
She had commissioned an artist friend - and a previous client of fuzzylime! - to produce a sample design for the website. We worked hard to ensure the overall look of the site fitted with that design, reflecting her style without taking away the impact of the featured works of art.
Lys has exhibited all over the world and many of her works are in public and private collections.
The design of the site lets the artwork speak for itself. The information about collections and exhibitions is easy to find but does not detract from the impact of the art.
Have a look and see what you think.
I'm sure someone will be on hand to tell you how many - or how few - shopping days there are until Christmas (it's far too early on Monday morning for us to work it out or, if we're honest, want to know).
We're always trying to help out at fuzzylime and we've launched an e-commerce site for Mode Galleries so you can start your shopping. They have beautiful jewellery, watches and accessories for women, men and children so that should take care of your Christmas shopping and you can go back to bed.
But, just before you start your hibernation - don't forget about you! If you don't trust the special person in your life to choose you a special enough present then you can use our clever new wish list feature to offer them a few less than subtle hints.
All you need to do when you wake up is buy the dog a bone, crack open the bubbly and celebrate.
Mode Galleries is a family business based in Castle Douglas and they wanted a well-designed modern website to showcase the range of jewellery they sell.
We've added some new features to make it easy for shoppers to find what they are looking for. After you've chosen your category of jewellery, you can narrow your search by designer/brand or by price.
While we were working on the Football Memories website, the guys at BackPage Press publishing asked us to take a look at their own website as they felt it was in need of a revamp.
The sports publishers have a few big book launches coming up and wanted to be able to sell the books and e-books online.
We completely redesigned the site to showcase BackPage's catalogue of sport books and installed our e-commerce software to make the selling side as easy as possible for both visitor and publisher.
BackPage Press are very active on Twitter and Facebook so we incorporated their social media feeds on to the site.
It's an exciting time for the team as they are working on a couple of big launches over the next few months so have a look and see what is coming up.
fuzzylime is delighted to be involved in the Football Memories project - a collaboration between Alzheimer Scotland and BackPage Press.
We were invited to create the web presence for this exciting project which hopes to help people suffering from dementia through the medium of football.
The website presents the football memories of celebrities, such as Noel Gallagher and Dougray Scott, as well as writers, journalists and footballers.
The website has to showcase these memories as well as making it as easy as possible for visitors to add their own memories and upload images.
We also incorporated an interactive map - using Google Maps - so that visitors could find out if there was a group in their area.
There is a prominent donate online feature and the website also links to social media.
Why not have a look and see if any of the memories sound familiar?
